You know when you hear a person’s name over and over again in many different, intelligent circles, and even in the Google+ circles, there must be a good reason. Well, that name is Peter Liu. He’s probably no secret to you and now I’m in his circle and I’m very grateful. I recently was lucky enough to reach Peter at the recommendation of friend for a pretty intense technical matter and I got a reply immediately. What a shock for Maui. If you live here, you know what I mean.
Not only was he a human being on the phone, he was more than that. Straight to the chase we went and deep we dived. We all know how stressful the world of computers and programs can be, and he eased my mind and immediately found a solution that worked. We made a good team, and I had my own “ah ha” moment and saw the light. He was more excited that I was excited to finally be able to achieve something so important to me that seemed so unreachable. You can bet I’ll call him first when I need help or guidance again.
Mahalo Peter!

I would like to thank you for your involvement with the 2011 HSAC Conference. The social media panel provided our attendees with a range of tools and considerations relating to this developing area of communications. Your contribution allowed attendees to consider some practical implications, and promoted a free-flowing discussion of issues. Council members and other attendees were able to hear how blogging, Twitter, and Facebook have the potential to impact the day-to-day operations of legislative bodies. I know that many of the attendees found the information you shared both helpful and timely, as evidenced by the uniformly positive comments on evaluation forms. On a personal note, I appreciated your professionalism and insights, and your genuine willingness to extend a helpful hand to those of us in county government.
