Yesterday, Facebook made Timeline for Pages available for preview. All pages will be converted on March 30, 2012. If you haven’t converted yours yet, here are a few things you should know:
- You need an 851×315 pixel cover image.
- If you had the “long form” (200×600 pixel) avatar, you’ll need to replace it with a square one.
- Landing tabs are gone, but you can display your apps next to your avatar.
- You can pin your favorite posts to the top. Hover over the top right edge of the post and and click on the pencil icon that appears.
- There’s a new Administrator Panel that is visible at the top if you’re an admin of the page.
- Pages now have Messages.
- You now have an option to change your Page name.
